chi is a musical journey around China's breathtaking landscapes, it's vast verdant plains and surrounding dramatic mountain passes. The title track embraces the natural energy revered and harnessed by its inhabitants, embracing sounds triggered by wind, rain and running water. We canter bareback, figuratively, through Xinjiang, in rhythm with the rippling and twitching muscle and ligaments of a Przewalski's wild horse.  A glorious procession comes into view, the march of Qin Shi Huangdi's funeral to The Forbidden City, where his buried army congeal into terracotta forever.  Riding the winds, maybe suspended from a giant kite, we get a birds-eye view of another holy pilgrimage, it's noise in a spiraling crescendo through winding ancient passages, to reach a hidden temple in the heights of the Tian Shan mountain range.  Finally, we celebrate the spirits of those martyrs for peace, as they ascend from the square on that fateful day in Tiananmen.
